Sharing

Yes I love to share in todays picture I share with Ricki and Nika. Farmor thinks this is one of my strong points. I love to involve everyone in enjoying my food. By everyone I mean both two and four legged creatures. Which classification do you fall in?
On my walk I ran into my friend Kegan with his Grandmother Sue. Grandma Sue got a real kick out of how I entertained Kegan who is 1 year old with my animal sounds. He smiled and giggled and that prompted me to be funnier and funnier.
Well its Thursday and I will be home with mom and dad this weekend and Christmas is just around the corner. I wish all my faithful readers and anyone who enjoys my blog a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Blog at you again after Christmas. Ho Ho Ho......... Little "G"

Happy Birthday Bash thats what it was last night at Farmor's house. Good food, good company what a celebration. Of course at my advanced age of 20 months maybe I don't have a real inventory of experiences to compare with.
What the heck it seemed like everyone had a good time.

Run Run

Yes thats what my Monday was like. We went on our walk as usual and I met a new friend Anika who was riding on a bike with her dad. They decided to stop and watch us feed the Alpine horses. Well Anika was so nice we invited her to help feed the horse. She had so much fun and she visited with our dogs and the dog that lives with the horses.
Then we had to get going and feed our other friends and go over and play at Joe's house. All I did every time I got out of the stroller was run, run and run some more. I had a great time. Enjoy the picture of Anika and the friendly small dog. If you want more pictures of today's adventures you will have to go to Flickr....... Little "G"

I get to play with her 4 days a week and I'm always excited to see her and she seems as excited to see me. If you have seen some of my videos you will remember seeing me help feed her and tasting her food. Oh yeah Dolly and Kojak are parrots and I help entertain them. Back to Work

Yes the day has come for dad and I to go back to work. Dad at his real job and me entertaining the old folks, farmor and farfar. Dad and I took off two weeks while mom had my new little brother Saxon. It has been exciting around our house and a bit of a change in ones daily itinerary.
Dad and I gave mom lots of moral support because its hard having a new baby in the house. Now there are two of us put a smile on her face. Of course I'm not a baby anymore as you can tell from my many exploits chronicled on this blog.
Today it was back to the grind playing with the dogs, going for our walk to feed the goats and horses. They all seemed happy to see me and I was just as excited to see them. I also started to break in my new table and chairs and tried on a Swedish hat. The hat went well with a bottle of milk and a piece of Swedish Wasa bread. Take a look at these pictures and you will get a glimpse of my morning.

See you around....Little 'G'

It's Official

Saxon in here!!!! Thats right my little brother Saxon arrived yesterday afternoon. He weighs 8lbs 8oz. and is 21.5 inches tall. My dad and auntie Lynne where in attendance while I stayed at Farmors house. It has been real exciting because both mom and dad have been sending Farfar pictures from their phones of Saxon.
He looks small to me but I guess there are some family resemblance even thou he doesn't have the slightly webbed toes that seem to be a family trait. Oh well he is healthy and mom is feeling good even thou she is a might tired.

Dad is coming to take me to the hospital to meet Saxon. I'm sure we will be great friends. Love and congratulations to my mom and dad. See you soon...Little"G"

Time is getting short

Hi everyone I"m at home with mom this week and we are preparing for my little brother to arrive. What does this mean for me? Thats a good question and I guess only time will tell. I did go and visit with Farmor on Tuesday and we went on a long walk. I visited all of my animal friends and played at all my favorite sites. I had a great time and then mom picked me up at noon, just in time for my snooze.
I wont be in contact with my editor for a while so I'm putting up a video for you to enjoy while I'm on hiatus from my blog duties. Mom needs all the help I can give her.

I'll be back blogging again soon............Little"G"

0430 Hours

Yes today I was a very early riser. Dad said that not only did I get up early but that I was like the Energizer Bunny. That so far has proved to be the truth. I have run Farmor, Farfar and the dogs all over the valley.
I got to explorer some new areas with small hills and gullies to climb up on and then scoot down into. I visited my usual assortment of flora and fauna and discovered a few new plants that I hadn't observed before.
Todays picture was from this adventure. I'm a little tired now so I'll blog at you again sometime soon....Little"G"

Maytag Repairman

Today I got to met the Maytag repairman Mr. Chang. He came over to Farmor's house to fix her dryer which sounded like it was going to explode. Actually I kind of liked the sound it made before he fixed it. It made the nicest banging sound you ever did hear and now its quiet like a mouse.
Oh well I have lots of other things to entertain me. I took a complete inventory of the kitchen making sure that all the pots, pans and other assorted stuff came out and was exercised.
The weather is a little gloomy and there is a chill in the air. Farmor noticed that I was rubbing my ear so she decided it would be a good idea if I stayed inside today. First I played with the dogs, my toys and Farmor. Then Farfar came back from walking the dogs and we played some neat games with my toys and he let me crawl over him.
Todays picture is from my walk yesterday.......Have a great day......Little"G"

Borsta Tanderna

You understand Swedish don't you? Todays pictures should tell you the meaning. I could give you a hint but what fun would that be?
I'll tell you about my day first then you can see what all this means. I took another long walk and we got a few sprinkles which felt really neat. Unfortunately I didn't get wet from any real rain. Of course I made up for that when I got my opportunity to run wild through the bushes, trees and moist grass. I especially like to jump up and down on the dirt piles I encountered. They give a little and the dirt squishes around at my feet.
The dogs and I ran after the ball and we had our snacks carrots and fruit. Ricki sort of likes the fruit but I don't think Nika does she just spits it out. Carrots on the other hand are enjoyed by all. Well enough of this suspense here is the photo album for today.

Well I guess you figured it out I'm brushing my teeth. I'll be blogging at you again real soon......Little"G"

Busy Me

Hi everyone Mondays are one of my real busy days. Today was no different there were horses and dogs to feed and visit. Exercise for the old ones {Farmor and Farfar} and of course story time with my friends. John, Alex, Marco and Thomas.
I
especially enjoyed the singing and playing with the balls with bells in them. They make such fine sounds when we all shake them and sing. Well I don't actually sing yet but I do make some very interesting sounds.
After story time we all went out and played outside. We chased each other, climbed on the bike racks and benches. Finally everyone had to go home. Oh well I had a good time and we went home too.
Todays picture is of me in a sort of watercolor format. Farfar thought you might like seeing it as I also tried out the crayons at the library. I don't think I'm ready for them yet but they were fun to throw........Little"G"

19 Months

Yes as of today I've hit the ripe old age of 19 months. To celebrate we went to the park and then over to my favorite area to explore. The park was ok but I really love running through the woods and the trails. I met two nice dogs who we gave some dog cookies to and of course I watered the dogs and played in the bushes.
Todays pictures are from my adventures this week. I hope you enjoy them......Little"G"

Have a nice weekend blog at you next week!!!

Santa's Helper

Wow I'm not supposed to see or know this but Auntie Lynne has volunteered as Santa's helper and has ordered me this neat present. Of course Grandpa Ted had to see what I would look like on my soon to be new motorcycle. I look really good don't you think?
Today has been fun I played a new game with Ricki, ring around the pool table. I chased and chased Ricki around the pool table giggling and laughing the whole time. When I got tired I sat right on top of Nika and she didn't even move. Grandpa said that he wished that he would have had his camera ready and we are sorry we can't share that moment with you. Maybe he will get a picture next time it happens.
Have a nice day and I 'can't wait until Christmas for my new Motorcycle.

Its a Holiday

In the valley that means quite streets with less cars and believe it or not less people. I have noticed even thou school is out on these holidays the children aren't out and about. That seems a little strange to me because the weather is fantastic and just begs you to come out and play.
I went on a long walk today and didn't get back home until after 12:00. I was famished and ate up a storm.
In todays picture I'm inspecting some of the plants I found by the winery. At least I think its a winery because they must have at least 3 acres of grape vines. Well I'm pooped and I need a nap. Blog at you soon........Little"G"

Here It Is

Thursday again and the end of another week at farmors. Farmor thinks I'm feeling better maybe thats because I had such a good nights sleep. Today I've been running farmor and farfar into the ground. Of course not literally but I took them for a 2 and a half hour romp through Portola Valley and Woodside today. I got out of my stroller and just exploded into hyper drive. I was all over the trails and roads with my dogs, ball and Farmor in some what close pursuit.
In todays picture you can see that I go under and through fences so that farfar can get a good picture of me. While on Trail Road I got to meet a black Labrador puppy who just came running right up to me. He sniffed me all over and then went for his walk with his owner. Eventually I got back in the stroller and we went back home.
All that running around made me real hungry and I gobbled down my lunch and played some more before going down for a snooze. Blog at you next week.......Little"G"

Water Boy

For those of you who haven't seen Grandpa Ted's latest blog on his website I have decided to show you a new video posted there first.

Yes this is what I do with the dogs. We share water of course they do most of the drinking. Even thou I'm in charge I have to make sure that Ricki doesn't hog all the water and that there is a little left for me to play with. Sometimes I even get a little wet. If you look closely at the video you might be able to see the telltale signs of wetness.
I played so hard today I fell asleep on the way home and I'm taking my nap early. Well have a nice day as I snooze away.......Little"G"

PVTTP

Thats a acronym you know it stands for Portola Valley Town Toddler Park and its brand new. Today I tested it out with two of my friends. Alex who also goes to story time with me and a new friend Tucker who I met at the park. I have to apologize for not having any pictures of me and Alex for you today but grandpa was busy with me and the dogs and these are the pictures he got.

As you can see he did get a few shots and you might even be able to tell I was having a real good time with my new friend Tucker. On our walk over to the park we saw a family of deer. The deer come real close to the roads at this time of year. I think they are looking for water and fresh food.
Well I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did in living it. Blog at you later...Little"G"

Wiggly Butt

Thats what farmor and farfar called me today after story time at the library. I don't understand just because one I can't sit still and two I squirm a bit while trying to listen to the story. Oh well I seem to be a hit with the others because they smile and laugh while I provide the entertainment. I dance make animal noises and do acrobatics all at the same time.
After story time John, Thomas who is also 18 months and I went outside to play. What fun we explored the bushes and the out door amphitheater. Of course I took the opportunity to dive in the bushes and run into the small branches from the trees. I even have a small souvenir a scratch on my face. Oh well it didn't even hurt and farmor didn't even notice it until we got home.
I'm attaching a video for your amusement of me running and visiting the flowers at Old Joe's house. As you maybe able to tell the quality of this video is better as it was taken with a video camera instead of my still digital picture camera.......Little"G"

Playing with John

Today is a double treat a picture of me in a tree and a video of John and I playing after story time. Framor said that I'm a chip off the old block. That dad used to climb trees and anything else that looked remotely climbable.
The video of John and I pretending to ride horses is kind of fun too. You all enjoy your weekend and I will have more treats for you next week. Little"G"

Fun in the Sun

Or what I did at Oma's house. Here it is almost October and Its in the low 80's. Well that means outdoor fun for me. We went over to Oma's and the dogs and I had such great fun running in the sprinklers, playing ball on the tennis court and just exploring the grounds. Grandpa and I even played some basketball and I got to dunk the basketball. The hoop is regulation height but of course my ball isn't.
Ricki and Nika love to get wet and roll in the grass. Come to think about it so do I. We chase the tennis balls and each other, Ricki especially likes to be chased. Nika is more fun because she will give me her ball and let me throw it for her. You should see how she can accelerate and catch her ball.

I don't leave farmor out of the fun either I like to take her hat and sunglasses off and tease her with them. Its all in fun and I do it to grandpa too. I was so soak and wet that farmor took my clothes off excepting my diaper for the ride home. Yes my clothes and shoes were a little more than wet, they also got a touch dirty.
I hope you enjoy the pictures from today remember to click on a individual picture for a expanded view and click it again to go back to the show...........Little"G"

Water

The weather was so nice today that we went on another long walk. Part of my responsibilities are to help feed and water the dogs. Todays picture is of me fulfilling my duties. Try clicking on my picture for a different view.
Nika wasn't the only one to get water I also made sure that Ricki got his fair share. Of course we had to have our carrots as a midmorning snack.
When we got home I let the dogs drink out of their water bowl then I proceeded to throw my ball into the water. You should have seen the big splashes I made. Of course there also was a slight mess, but I had so much fun.
I was so hungry at lunch I just wolfed down my hamburger and noodles. It just hit the right spot. There was no sharing with the dogs they will have to wait until tonight to get theirs.
Have a nice day and so long for now. I need to finish my frozen strawberry yogurt. Little"G"

Scoopage

Thats right grandma and grandpa or farmor and farfar which ever you prefer heard a new word over the weekend "scoopage". Well todays scoopage is I had a great time at story time at the library. I only had one small mishap when I was playing hide and seek. I ran full speed into a stack of books. I cried a little but it upset Keegan so much that I had to stop before he cried too.
During story time I got to play ball and the ball had a nice sounding bell in it and we all made some nice music to go along with the story. I did better at participating in the group activities. I recognized all the children and played with some of them. Maybe this story time is not so bad.
For those of you that haven't looked at grandpa's website I'm attaching a video clip we made last week on one of our walks.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did in making it. Little"G"

Sharing

Today I went on a walk with Farmor, Grandpa, Ricki and Nika. While running a round and playing the dogs and I got thirsty so I got to give the dogs water from their bottle. Of course we all got to share the water first Ricki he's real pushy that way. Then Nika and I took turns which you can see in this slide show.

I also wanted to show you the neat windmill that is on Georgia Lane its a real blast from the past. Well its time to eat now so have a nice weekend and I'll blog at you next week. Little"G"

Yank My Chain

You might think what a strange or even funny title for a blog post. Maybe it is but you will see by these pictures that today had its share of chains.
This first picture of me testing the chain connector on the fire hydrant. I hope the fire department appreciates my help.

In the other picture I'm testing the barrier chain. Thankfully all the chains I tested were in good working order and get my approval.
Today was such a wonderful day to run and play in the leaves. The wind was blowing, the leaves were falling and I was running, jumping and diving into them. I guess you would say that fall is a neat season. Well its time to go blog at you later. Little"G"

More Story Time Video

More Story Time Video. My mom wanted to now what it was that we did at the library so here is a video of what happened. You will notice that we all were sitting so nicely on the floor. I especially was well behaved. Well that might be a small stretch of the imagination.
For those of you who would rather see some of the animals I visit attached is a picture of Lorenzo the Llama and his flock of sheep.

Enjoy watching the video. Little"G"

Story Time

Today I got to go to the Portola Valley Town Library for story time. Its just for little ones like me. I met lots of other toddlers who came to hear the lady read the fun stories. The nice lady reads and we clap our hands, point at body parts and shake our feet. We even got to sing along and dance while the lady reads the stories to us. Of course I had a hard time staying still so I explored the library and played hide and seek with grandpa. I loved it so many books and neat places to explore I can hardly wait until next week. I even got two books to read at home. Read to Your Bunny and Baby's First Stories.
After the story time was over I got to play with John who is 2 years old and grandpa took this short video of our fun.

Well its time for a short snooze I'll be blogging at you later. Little"G"

All Boy

Thats right grandpa says I qualify for the title all boy and we are attaching this photo to prove it (remember to click on the picture to see it full size you wont believe your eyes). You will note several things, plenty of dirt on my face, hands and clothing. Water in several places you can see and some that you can't. Perched on the old stepping stool which I accomplished on my first try and with no help from anyone. You might say I'm on my way to higher places.
Now that the weekend is approaching here is a short video of me on the drums. Little"G"

New Friends

Today I meet a new horse friend who lives with Atlas on Westridge. You remember Atlas he is the beautiful white horse you have seen me feed on my videos. Well his new friend was so happy to see all of us and is so sweet when he takes his carrots.
The other animals I meet today where the sheep that live off of Georgia Lane. They are usually not out during the hot weather but now that it is cooler they came out to play. In fact they where so interested in what we where doing that they came up close to the fence to see what the dogs and I where doing. Take a look at this album for some of yesterdays and todays highlights.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we were real busy on our two and half hour walk today. I even ran all the way on Farm Road in Woodside and thats a long way on my little legs. It was so much fun there are large piles of leaves to play in and I chase my ball all over the trail and road. There is no traffic in this area so its a real safe place to play. Blog at you later Little"G"

18 Months and Counting

Thats right I'm as of today a year and a half or 18 months or 547 plus days old. It seems like yesterday when I first arrived on the scene. What excitement, mom, dad and all the relatives where so excited as they should have been. It's an important event when someone special arrives to wow and entertain you.

In todays video you will see how much I have improved in by basic dexterity or how MOBILE I am. The video opens with me enjoying some flowers and then exhibiting my skills on the run. Time for a little rest. Blog at you later. Little"G"

Blog Pal

Thats right I now have a new blog pal Greyson who's nickname is Little"G" just like mine. His mom and dad e-mailed me and said that they loved my blog and grandpa's website. Well I went to Greyson's website and it is great. Be sure to check it out.

Today I have had a very busy day playing and exercising the grandparents and my dogs. I even was trying hats on Nika and Ricki. They looked so funny but grandpa wasn't fast enough with his camera. So I have to show you how well I climb on the fireplace and share water with Nika. Little"G"

Sand, Sand and More Sand

No I wasn't in the desert even thou it was warm outside. I was at the park where I enjoyed filling my bucket with sand and then pouring it all over myself. Grandpa filled up the bucket and wow a light went on in my head. I can make a mess, I can dig in the stuff and is it fun.
Of course that's not all that I did. I played on the slide and the spring toys. Then I went into the big kids area and went on swing and the climbing toys.
When we went to leave the park I pointed out to grandpa that it was my job to take the keys and unlock the car. I wonder where I learned that?
I just finished my lunch of meatballs, french fries and Popsicle. It's time for a little nap so blog at you later. Little"G"

Salt Mines

Thats right today it was back to the salt mines. After my energetic action filled long weekend with mom and dad. It was back to my job as entertainer, physical therapist and dog walker for Farmor Eivor and Grandpa Ted.
After psyching myself up on the commute to work I was ready to hit the street running. I entertained them with dancing to videos and demonstrating the proper use of my trucks and wooden puzzle toys. Then I went to work on their physical therapy, they get to do stretching to pick up objects that I strategically place to challenge them.
I then go straight to my duties as dog walker, horse greeter and goodies distributor. Of course I do get work breaks and that is the subject of todays picture. As you can see I love plants and hide and seek. You should see Farmor hustle to find me. Well I guess even on my breaks I'm working as her physical activities director. Off to other adventures. Hot Hot it's warm outside

Yes it has been very warm in Portola Valley, Ca. this week and I have had to consume more than my share of icy cold Popsicle treats. Grandpa Ted has been busy with other assignments so I'll have to apology for not posting at my normal time.

I have been busy doing all sorts of things this week other that eating Popsicles. I've been swimming in the pool and playing with the hose getting myself and the dogs all wet and very happy. I hope you enjoy my little video and I will try to be up and running normally next week. Little"G"

No Pictures

Thats right today we have no visual clues to my adventures. Grandpa and I where to busy taking video of me and Snowball. Snowball was out in the big pasture today and when we came he began running all over his corral. I didn't know a little horse had so much energy and could run so fast. It was really tricky getting the video camera out and pushing the stroller up a difficult dirt trail. Or so says grandpa maybe he just has trouble multi-tasking?
As we came up the trail we were greeted by two ladies on really big horses. I was so proud of Ricki and Nika as they moved to the side and sat down so the horses could go through. Not all dogs behave around horses and that could be dangerous for the horses and their riders.
Of course I got to get out and play too and while I was playing with my ball little Herbie came by to visit. Herbie is a little black pug and is very cute. He is a little intimidated by the big dogs. Who could blame him he only weighs about 12 to 15 pounds. Farmor got to pet Dolly a schnauzer who we see a lot but is cautious around little dynamos like myself.
When we got back to Farmor's house grandpa and I went swimming. We splashed and splashed. Then I took a bath and ate lunch. I'm a bit tired now so blog at you later. Little"G"

My Office

Welcome to my office. When mom and dad go to work I go to work at farmor's house. I have my own work bench as you can see in this photo. In fact you might be able to see the concentration on my face as I exercise my array of wooden toys.
Of course the other portion of my work environment is in the field feeding and visiting with the animals of Portola Valley. Today I made the acquaintance of two new horses and Mr. Bill who gave us a whole bunch of pears.
When we got back to my office we washed the pears and gave some to Kojak and Dolly our two large parrots. They loved them in fact Kojak finished his so fast we had to give him more. Well I had a hard weekend and need to take a nap now. Blog at you later. Little"G"

Promised Video

Well its Thursday and it has been a very exciting week. I have visited all my animal friends and went to the park. I told you about the park earlier in the week and here is a video of how I did on the spring toy.
Today I got lots of exercise I ran and climbed all over the horse property and met the owner of Cherokee a paint colored horse. We then went down to blocked off area of Georgia Lane and played with my basketball. It was so much fun watching Farmor run thats right she ran after the ball and did real good. We then went over to Joe's house and I explored the apple trees and got to touch some neat pink flowers.
I got home ate lunch and just passed out, I was really tired from so much fresh air. Have a nice weekend and I'll blog at you all next week. Little"G"

Chains

Today I got to explore the many uses of chains. There good for separating the roadway, swinging on and of course posing with.
The dogs and I played on the end of Hidden Valley Road and Possum Lane. Besides chains there is lots of other neat things to investigate.
Huge leafs, big sticks, all types of growing plants.
I run and crawl over everything in my way. Grandpa is even helping me to learn how to walk Nika on her leash. She minds real well as long as I'm giving her treats. It's nap time so blog at you later. Little"G"

Wowing the Girls

At the park today I got to play with lots of other children. As you can see I seem to draw the older girls. This one wants to help me rock and roll on some neat toys.
Grandpa got some video of us making this think really move. You'll be able to see how she just sidles up to me and we enjoy the ride together.
Unfortunately for you you will have to wait to see that. Remember good things come to those that wait. Little"G"

I'm a Video Watcher

Thats right I'm a video watcher and as you can see I like to be comfy. I'm also multi tasking by exercising farmor's mail scale.
Grandpa thinks it is interesting how I hone in on certain videos and watch them over and over again. I even pickup all the musical cues so that if I'm doing something else I know when to return for the good parts.
Of course I went on my daily walk with the dogs and visited all our old friends. Farmor even stopped to visit with Dagmar and Bill. They are neighbors not any of our animal friends.
Nap time so I'll be signing off. Over and Out. Little"G"

Cold and Green

Today I picked out a nice lime green Popsicle for my after lunch dessert. I was able to finish the whole thing all by myself. I didn't need Ricki or Nika's help even though they would have probably liked the meatballs, potatoes and gravy that I had first. I even attempted to use my spoons thats right I was using two spoons and ten fingers to shovel it down.
I'm a good but messy eater which you might be able to see on my picture. There can't be much left on my face though. Farmor cleaned it off at least three time before this picture was taken.
Looking forward to the weekend with mom and dad. Little"G"

Looking for Signs

I know it's just a no parking sign but it plays alot like a drum. Yes I see and interact with lots of different people and animals on my walks. But I also get to explore inanimate objects like signs, gates and bridges.
Today I signaled out this particular sign and gate for my investigations. It proved to be very entertaining. Just after my little recital a deer popped up out of the trees. I wonder if he enjoyed my concert? Well he saw the dogs and off he went down the road and into the creek.
I did get to meet a nice retriever puppy who was so wiggly I couldn't get a hold of him. He wanted to go over and play with Ricki and Nika but I don't think that was a good idea and farmor agreed.
I just finished my strawberry Popsicle and am getting a little tired so I'll be blogging at you later. Little"G"

Tinker Park in Menlo Park

Todays title actually rhymes, has a nice ring to it doesn't it. I went there after we took our dogs on their walk and feed our horse friends on Grove. Again I got to feed the horses with my new extra large carrots. I had so much fun of course I had to climb all over the horse property and feed the dogs their cookies.
When we got home we changed clothes and headed out to the park. The park had lots of other children and some nice equipment to play on. I swung on the swing and climbed on the slides. One of the slides actually has two slides and a tunnel to hide in. There is a big train thats on springs and grandpa really got it moving for me. There was lots of squealing and laughing from yours truly. I also got to play on the motorcycle toy with farmor's help.
Grandpa was impressed with how I'm able to climb up the slides ladder and sit down to use the slide. Well I'm almost 17 months now and my coordination is improving all the time.
I just finished lunch and it's time for my snooze. Little"G"

Bear

Good afternoon and welcome back to my little blog. Today I got to try something a bit different Farmor bought some really big carrots that would make it easier for me to feed the horses and goats. Well Bear the goat couldn't believe his eyes when I showed him what I had.
As usual I had to test out the carrot to make sure that it was fresh and sweet enough to offer to my friend. It was and I did. Bear was beside himself he couldn't get it down fast enough and Farmor had to give me two more to satisfy his hunger.
Bear is recuperating from surgery on his bladder and carrots are one of the foods he is allowed. I'm so happy to see him back at his home and feeling so well. He had to go to Davis for some very special treatment but Don says everything went well and Bear should be just fine.
Time for me to take a snooze so I'll be blogging at you later. Little"G"
PS as usual additional photos are posted here.

Proof

That's right today I'm offering visual proof of how I feed the horses. Yes Farmor does help me at first but then I go for it on my own. See if you can see when I taste test the carrot before feeding the horse.

I also meet Oma who was out on the open road in her red car and I got say hello to Boggie her dog. I also got to play ball with Ricki and Nika, I've had a very busy day. Little"G"

Pony Ride

Hi everybody what a day I have had. Not only did I see two huge jack rabbits up close but I saw chickens, roosters and turkeys. The best was when we went up to visit with Crystal the horse. Not only was Crystal there but so was Dr. Beth who wondered if I would like a pony ride on Snowflake?
Before I could signal grandpa he said you bet he would. I couldn't have said it better myself. Grandpa and I crawled through the fence and I ran up to Snowflake who was eating some alfalfa. He didn't seem to be real interested in going for a ride. Dr. Beth came up and put his leash on. I guess they actually call it a halter and then grandpa put me on top of Snowflake.
Even though Snowflake is a small horse a miniature horse actually his back was wide and slippery. Grandpa had to hold on to me so that I wouldn't slide off, no saddle you know I ride bare back. I wasn't on for long but then I got to explore the stable and feed Snowflake some special treats.
I even got to help Dr. Beth move Snowflake to another pasture so he could run. My job was to shut the gates and grandpa got to lock them. I had so much fun but we did have to continue with our walk. So we thanked Dr. Beth and Snowflake and went on our way.
When we got home grandpa and I rinsed off the dogs with the garden hose, what fun and then played in the backyard until farmor announced lunch was ready. Spaghetti one of my favorites well its time for a rest, blog at you later. Little"G"

Decisions

I had a hard time trying to decide on what to talk about today. Was it going to be Farmor Eivor and I playing with the hose. We both get soak and wet, what fun. Was it to be about my new lounge chair that Farmor got for me. No can't be that I talked about chairs last week and mom thought that the new one looked like a dog bed. Well I'm no dog so I will have to tell you about today.
Today is about dogs and horses. I went over to Grove and had so much fun, there is a picnic bench and horse trailer to climb on. Horses and dogs to feed and actual live entertainment. There was a giant truck that came to pickup the horse manure. It made so much noise and was such fun to watch as it maneuvered its way into the property. It had this neat lifting thing that picked up the giant trash container and emptied into a even bigger one. The drivers helper said that other children loved to watch them work too.
Grandpa loved this close up picture of me so thats the one I'm using today. Of course if you want to see more go to picture trail and look at the Summer 2007 album to see me in action. Little"G"

Wooden Toys

I thought that you might enjoy watching me play with my new - old wooden toys. I actually sit still and play. I'm not wild so grandpa had to spice up the music a little. Little"G"

My Chair

Grandpa moved the chair out of his bedroom so that I have my very own lounger when I watch my videos. Of course the videos I most enjoy are those that I star in and Baby Einstein videos. Grandma took out a bunch of new old toys that she says I have grown into now. The wood puzzle and board with balls and a hammer are great. So far I have only used the hammer in the correct mode, but who knows what I'll do in the future.
I want to wish my mom and dad a very happy third wedding anniversary. Love and Kisses your Little"G"

Monday--Monday

Well this isn't a normal Monday. On Friday the 13th grandma sort of tripped over Ricki and sprained her arm. Fortunately X-rays proved to be negative and nothing was broken. More than a little sore I'll bet.
This changed our normal Monday itinerary. Grandpa had to take the dogs out early so that they get their exercise. I got to go to the park instead of our walk but I'm posting some video of goes on during a normal Monday walk. I hope you enjoy it and that grandma feels better soon. Little"G"

Happy Snacker

I don't know how you spend your days but I spend mine as the Happy Snacker of Portola Valley. My job entails spreading fun and joy to all the animals and people I encounter on my daily walks. Of course not all the people want half eaten or overly moist partially consumed food. The horses and dogs I meet don't seem to have the same aversion to slightly sampled snacks.
Today I meet a six month old boy Kerwin and his grandmother Sue. They where very nice but Kerwin was a bit boring. I guess thats a age thing. Shortly after that I meet Lucy a wonderful basset hound. She carries herself low to the ground unlike my dogs and has wonderfully long ears. She really enjoys my snacks, especially the graham crackers.
Well its almost the weekend and I wonder what Mom and Dad have planed for me? I'm sure it will be wonderful fun. Happy blogging. Little"G"

Cautionary "Tail"

Todays video is a cautionary tale or in this case tail about a toddler (me) and my new puppy. I think that grandpa thinks it might be a bit extreme with me lifting the puppy by its tail, legs and neck. The puppy does get a lot of attention from me and the big dogs and plenty of hugs and kisses. Unfortunately to many people buy puppies and place them with young toddlers a recipe for disaster. Well I'll get off my soapbox and let you enjoy the video. Little"G"

Hugs

Strange weather has come to our little town. Its cloudy and humid outside but that didn't stop us from taking a long walk. I feed my horse friends and got to explore their stable. Todays picture is of me and my good friend Nika.
Oma dropped of a new toy for me it looks just like a little puppy it wags its tail, jumps around and barks. Grandpa keeps telling me to be gentle but how am I supposed to figure out how it works. Grandma says she is glad that its not a real puppy. Time for the old folks to rest so I'll give them a break and take my nap. Thanks again Oma for the fine present. Little"G"

Thats right I'm making a new fashion statement today. While I was running around this morning I was feeling a little warm so I started to take off my shirt, well this is as far as I got. You must admit it looks good especially with my six pack showing. All you girls eat your heart out.
This morning I got a neat new toy my very own vacuum cleaner I will have to post a picture of it words can't do it justice. Grandpa got some video of me putting it through its paces. I bet you cant wait to see it. Have a wonderful day. Little"G"

Vistor

I know that I don't normally post on Friday but so much happened yesterday that I had to at least share a picture of Jennie and me. Jennie came to visit grandma and me all the way from San Francisco. Well that may not be a huge trip but it still seems kinda far to me. Picture is of us playing on the floor. I had lots fun with someone new to entertain and charm. She did think I am handsome, lovable and charming. So what else is new. Blog at you later. Little"G"

Swimming

This is the third part of my busy Thursday. Its pictures of me enjoying the swimming pool which is a temperate 80 degrees. Grandpa thinks thats just about right but grandma would like to see it a bit warmer. Well have a wonderful weekend and I will be back to work on Monday. Little"G"

Playing with Grandma

It's hot already but not to fear I have already taken the dogs, grandma and grandpa for their walk. I've been in the swimming pool with grandpa its good for his shoulder. I will be putting up some pictures of me in the pool later. For today I have one of my composite photo's of grandma and me playing around the pool. Its a lot of work entertaining older folks but they do seem to laugh a lot and they don't seem to mind getting wet and dirty.
Its time for lunch now and grandma's niece is coming to visit this afternoon. I suppose I will have to put my best face forward and help with the entertainment. I do excel at entertaining, people seem to enjoy my antics. Well be blogging at you later. Little"G"

Happy Birthday America

Hi everyone I know that you probably weren't expecting any posting from me today. The birth of our country is just to important to let pass without me recognizing this day and what it means to me.
I have a bright future to look forward to with the opportunity to do what ever I want. I can achieve anything that I can accomplish with hard work and dedication. Yes I'm a very lucky boy to have been born in AMERICA still the greatest place to live.
