Monday Monday

I have a bit of a cold and cough today so I spent a little more time inside the house this morning. I played with my toys and chased the dogs with my bike and gave the banjo a workout. At 10:00 AM it was time for Farfar and I to prepare the pool for the pool man who comes on Monday. We open the pool cover and then I exercise my pool toys by throwing them in the cold water.
Next it was time to take the dogs for their walk and the morning had warmed up nicely. Farmor insisted that I wear a warm sweatshirt over my chest to stay nice and warm. We fed the horses and said hello to Lucy the dog. I gave her four dog cookies which made her very happy.

Lunch was good as I had noodles, hamburger and ice cream. Well Farmor says it is time for me to take a nap. I'm not sure that I'm all that tired but I will try to humor her and see what happens. Later........... Little "G"
Post Script: No, No nap for me I'm just to energized today.

Teaser
Whats a teaser? Well in this case it is a video featuring me on Christmas Eve at Farmors house of course you will see the rest of my family. Brother Saxon, Mom, Dad, Oma and Farmor. I'm afraid Farfar was taking pictures so you wont see him.
Now that I have wetted your appetite let me tell you very soon there will be another version of this video. It will feature more than 100 pictures taken on Christmas Eve and will be a bit longer than this video...... Little "G"

And the Clouds Parted

Yes it is Little "G" puddle finder and eradicator. I found lots of puddles today over at the school and I did my best to jump up and down in them until all the water was gone.
Then it was off to the slides which were equally wet and even thou Farmor tried to dry them off I still managed to get the seat of my pants real wet.

Nika and I played as usual, I take her leash and she has to follow me around the playground. For this she gets dog cookies, carrots and a great big hug from me.

That is all for now ever one please have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah..... Little "G"

School Yard

You can see in the picture that one of the toys was a small tractor trailer truck that had another little car in the back. The boys and I took the truck up to the covered slide and let it go. The truck swooped down around the curly cue slide and then flew off and onto the tarmac. All this with a noise you would have to hear to believe.
The older boy who I believe is six and his brother who is five had a Like-a-Bike the wooden model. Well their mom was so surprised when I jumped on it and took off riding all around the school. She didn't now that I have lots of experience riding mine around the house. She asked Farmor how old I was and she told her. Again she was shocked I'm exactly as tall as her five year old.
We made sure that we thanked her and her sons for allowing me to play with their toys. It was very nice of them to share with me.

Early Christmas
Yes I got a early Christmas present today a race car set designed for us little ones. It has two race cars one blue and one red with their own drivers. The track is a classic figure eight which means that the cars have ample opportunity to crash into each other. There even is a grandstand for spectators to watch from and a gas filler to load the cars up with gas. A trophy for the winner (Me) and a key to start the race and race car sound effects to complete the effect. Here it is in action with me in control.
Fast-Faster-Fastest from Ted Goth on Vimeo.
Now after seeing the video you may ask yourself do I want to race "G" or am I afraid to lose ?

Blurrrr
It is a bit cold for the west coast today but that would only make this post a burr its cold. No today I was into the blur mode or how does one cloudy up perfectly good photo opportunities and what does one do with those pictures?
On my walk I asked Farfar for the camera and being obliging as usual he complied with my request. You might say I have him well trained to my needs and wants. Any way I turned on the camera and reviewed the pictures that where still on the memory card. Of course unknown to Farfar I had spread spittle and pop tart residue all over the lens of the camera.
Farfar took lots of pictures before he noticed something was not right. Well lots of folks would have just deleted all those interesting pictures. Not us how many pictures of aliens and big trucks do you get? So here is what we did- our own altered states........ Little "G"

If you would like to see the pictures up close click HERE for a more spectacular view.

Jaws

I'm sharing my latest production with you featuring Nika and me playing Jaws. I stick my bare foot into her mouth and she tries to grab it. Softly of course but it is so much fun to try to beat her at this game.
Farmors sister was on the phone and said it sounded like I was having so much fun it made her feel like she was in the family room with us instead of at home in Sweden. Well enough of my jabbering here is the Animoto photo video..... Little "G".

Showers
Not April showers or bathroom showers nor wedding showers but cool December showers. I had forgotten how much fun it is when the rain comes down. A little rain and the streets are wet the puddles reappear and the creeks fill up all things close to a little boys heart.
Before I could go out to experience the rain I had to appease Farmor and sit in her lap, have a little milk and a little something to eat. As you can see in the picture it looks like Farmor is dressed to go right outside and play. Looks are deceiving she said no I had to wait until the rain turned to showers.
Well the rain finally did turn to showers in fact when we left the house on our walk there was no rain to be seen or felt. Of course that was to change but not until we got over to Skittles house. I visited with my horse and dog friends along the way.
Just before you get to Skittles house there is a long stretch of flat road and trail where I get out to run, explore and just have fun. Today it was really neat because there was water everywhere and everything I touched was wet. The creek had lots of water and I had fun throwing leaves in and watching them float away. Then the showers came and I had to put up the hood on my jacket. Not by choice mind you but Farmor insisted so up it went and off I ran to Skittles with my bag of dog cookies.
Skittles was very glad to see me and she even came off of her dry porch to play and have a snack. I had to go up to her porch just to make sure that the pumpkins where still there. I do like looking for and finding all the pumpkins on our walk. Then all of a sudden the rain shower stopped and the sun broke through the clouds and we were off and running again.
Well that is sort of how our walks go, feeding our friends, exploring the valley and enjoying the weather what ever it might be......... Little "G"

Toys for Tots
Today was the day Farmor, Farfar and I took toys to the Fire Station to help the Firemen give other children a Merry Christmas. We brought a nice new orange truck for a boy and a new Barbie doll set for a girl with lots of stuff to dress her in.
The Firemen were very happy to get the toys and they offered to show me all their equipment. Of course I couldn't say no that type of opportunity so off I ran with them to their trucks. That's right they had two big fire trucks and I got to go into both of them. They even let me turn on the lights and push all those neat buttons and switches. Take a look at these pictures and you will get a idea of what fun I had.
When it was time to go they thanked me again for sharing with others and gave me my own fire hat and now I have two....... Little "G"
A note from Farfar: The firemen couldn't believe how agile and strong "G" is! The way he climbed into the truck all by himself and the way he closed the truck doors when he got in and out. They were ready to accept his application to join them and they said they would hold a spot open for him anytime he is ready.

Christmas Tree

Today I've been a little stinker on our walk I took my water bottle and sprayed water all over Farmor, Farfar and the dogs. The stinker part was I stepped into it. Thats right I found the big mound of dog poop and promptly stepped right into it. Luckily I walked in the grass and gravel and got most of it off before we went home. Anyway enjoy the video, I sure liked making it.............. Little "G"

Better Late

You see it was time to go pick out a Christmas tree. So it was off to Web Ranch to see what they had to offer and boy did we find a interesting tree. I think it is what they call a Douglas Fir but don't take my word for it. All the trees look alike to me!

Next he helped Farfar put it in the bucket and off we went with the tree sticking out the back window and Christmas carols streamming out of the back window. Somebody better tell Farfar he can not carry a tune!

New Experience

Ricki is good at letting me walk him without pulling on the leash to hard. I still have to learn that when I see something else that interests me that I don't just drop the leash. It is hard not to go over to interesting spots or to investigate new things that I see.

In this picture you can see that one of the horses is reaching through the fence to get his carrots. Well I think it is about time for a little snooze so blog at you again real soon....... Little "G"

Nice Day
Wow the morning started out all gloomy and ended up warm and bright. Another perfect day for a walk through the valley. Today we took a little different route and I got to run, explore, play and visit with some different animals.
I met two horses and several chickens, have you ever seen a chicken up close? Well I did today and they are awfully pretty for a bird. The trail that goes by the horses and chickens gets a little steep just right for an adventurous boy. I achieved mach speed as I descended the trail leaping over the 4 by 4's as I picked up speed. Farfar and Ricki were in hot pursuit but they where no match for my rocket like speed.
Finally we came to the bottom of the hill and we waited for Farmor and Nika. Nika was barking at us to slow down so that she could catch up. You see dogs are pack animals and they know that the pack has to stay together for the packs well being. It is nice and reassuring to be a member of a pack it's sort of like a human family.
Next stop was the fire station to take a look at the Christmas decorations. I liked all the reindeer which sort of look like the deer we see almost daily. They were pulling a sled with lots of packages for good little boys and girls. Here are a few shots from today..... Little "G"

Adventure Walk
Can you believe it today is the first day of December and it will be Christmas before you know it. A time for all little boys to be good! Did you hear that Saxon? We especially have to be on our best behavior for Santa.
What is a adventure walk? Today it is meeting new friends, talking to old friends and trying new things. Now I could tell you all about the my new horse friends or the salamander that I rescued, but instead I will just have to show you........ Little "G"
Short and sweet but so much fun!
