A Year Later

Just for comparison I've uploaded this video from May of last year with additional footage added from May of this year. You might notice that I'm a good head taller and not so interested in the cat as I was when I was little. I hope you enjoy this glimpse from the past... Little "G"

Hint: If you would like to see me and Ricki in action check out Farfar's blog.

After Noon Delights

First here are some photos from when mom came to pick me up last night. The first one is of me showing off after drinking some of mom's sparkling water. The second one is of my little brother Saxon and his happy face. We are both very happy boys.
Today I enjoyed going back over to Oma's Estate to run and play with the dogs. Farfar and I took some more video of this adventure.
For today here is a video of yesterdays afternoon play... Little "G"

Suzanna or Savannah

No not old Suzanna but Savannah. Today it is back to work for all of you and me too or should I say off to a safari adventure. No not a safari in deepest darkest Africa but a safari at Oma's Savannah. As you can see there are some exotic animals there a giraffe, cheetah, frogs and birds.
I have plenty of protection when I visit her kingdom. I bring my dogs they provide all the personal protection one needs. I tried to feed the exotic animals but unlike the dogs they didn't want any of my goodies. Oh well maybe next time I can find something they like better than carrots and dog cookies.
Of course I did all my regular duties, I helped feed the horses and dogs on our trek over to Oma's Savannah Safari. We also stopped to play at Joe's and throw sticks and leaves into the creek. Today has been a full featured day........ Little "G"

Visitors

Yes visitors to Farmor's house and no they weren't from another planet either. They where my mom and little brother Saxon. Mom came to have some coffee with Farmor and to tell her about our adventure yesterday at Windmill Preschool.
I went out in the backyard with Farfar and the dogs to play a little and to let the ladies talk in peace. If you have been reading my blog you know what the drill is when I play outside with the dogs. I get to feed them dog cookies and play run and find. I run with a cookie and they have to find me to get the treat. Its great fun.
As for todays pictures that handsome bald little devil is Saxon and thats me after I added a little water color filter to the photograph. Yes I'm sitting in Farfar's lap and assisting him with this artistic version of me. A hint for everyone just click on the picture to see Saxon and Me in all our glory...... Little "G"

Windmill

Today Mom and I are going to visit Windmill. Its a preschool what ever that means? I'm told that its a fun place with lots of other children to play with. They also get to do lots of neat things. I'll tell you how it went later.
So for today here is a slide show that Farfar made up to introduce you all to some changes we have made. He made it in Google Docs (its a beta product) and it should be fun to hear what you all think of it. So here are they are:

Well did you click through the slides and did you go and see my artwork? Farfar is using it as his desktop.

Here is a small picture of my original artwork, I think it looks kind of neat........ Little "G"

You can get your copy here: Use it for a desktop image or just enjoy the moment.

Up - Close

I'm back playing with the dogs today. Here I am with a dog cookie in one hand and waiting for the dogs to come and chase me. Its a game that we play every day and I'm getting better at hiding the cookies from them. Of course eventually they get the cookies after we run all over the backyard.
It was a little cooler this morning so I wasn't allowed to play in the water. The cooler temperature was so comfortable on our walk. We fed the horses and visited with Lucy the Australian Cattle Dog. She is so gentle when she takes the dog cookies from me.
Of course I got to run out and play over at Joe's house and two deer ran right by Farfar and me. I mean they were real close maybe 4 or 5 feet away. Boy can they run fast and jump high over the fences.
Spaghetti for lunch and some ice cream for desert yummy - yummy. Well it's time to go...... Little "G"

Hot Hot Relief

Yes it is hot today, even this morning is hot and I understand it may hit triple digits. What ever that is. Well Farmor decided that it would be better to stick around the house today rather that going out to explore the trails. The heat isn't good for the dogs, older folks and of course younger folks like myself.
So what did I do to pass the time you may ask. First thing this morning we went out to the backyard where Farmor and Farfar drank their coffee and I had my milk. Then it was off to the races. I drove my car, fed the dogs dog cookies and played with the water hose. I did get wet and so did the dogs they love to bite the water and I love getting all wet. Check out this 3 minute video to see for yourself.

After cooling off in the water I went inside to get on dry clothes and to have my snack of fruits and of course topped off by a Popsicle. Then I was off playing with my trucks especially the old dump truck that was my dad's when he was a boy. I rode my bike all through the house and helped Farfar put together todays video........ Helmet Law

Yes Farfar has imposed a helmet law for when I take my Like-a-Bike out doors. Well I didn't care for this rule so I let him know in no uncertain terms that I would prefer to not wear a helmet.
First I get red in my face, then a little teary eyed. When this didn't work I added some vocal harmonization to my protest. No good Farfar insisted that I wear the helmet. So as you can see from the picture I relented just to make him happy and we went outside.
I rode the bike and drove around in my car all with helmet on. After sometime which seemed like hours (only about 10 minutes) I convinced Farfar that I had enough of the helmet. He removed it and that made me very happy. The consequence to taking the helmet off was that he put the bike away. I guess I will just have to get used to wearing it a little at a time........ Little "G"
Note: From Farfar If "G" wears his helmet a little each day he will adjust to this requirement for riding bikes.

It Begins Here

Yes my mornings start out in the backyard playing with the dogs and my toys. Today was a especially nice morning with lots of sunshine and none of that annoying wind. As you can see from todays picture I drove my car I also swung on my swing and rode my big wheel.
No I didn't fogret the dogs we ran between the garage and the backyard sharing dog snacks and just had a good old time. I like to hide the snacks against my body so that the dogs have to work to get them. Nika and Ricki both are careful when they take them from me. Today I tried something new I ran right up to the fence and got as close as I could to it so they really had to work to get the treats.
Thats just the begining we then went for a long walk and I explored some more trails and found some water to play in. I got wet and that really felt good because it was starting to get hot outside. We stopped and had our carrot snacks and I had some juice to wash it down. Farfar and I played hide and seek and I always win. I run and hide he chases me and then we run down the trails.
On our walk home the dogs and I had some water out of my water bottle. Fafar holds the bottle about 12 inches from each of our mouths and squirts the water in. I think I get more all over my face than in my mouth. I giggle and laugh and we have so much fun........... Little "G"

Mothers Day 2008

Howdy everyone today I'm recovering from Mothers Day celebrations. We celebrated at home and then at Farmor and Farfar's house. Wow was I busy I had all these adults to entertain along with the dogs who needed to be exercised.
I'll let mom and dad fill you in on what happened in the morning all I can remember is that I was to busy to take my nap. I guess you might say I was wired. You know full of energy and in need to expend some of it. Farfar said he noticed that I was full of it when I came roaring up the driveway running for the front door.
You see when I come in the morning I'm not that energetic I want to be carried in before I get busy. Sunday my little brother Saxon and I where up to entertaining everyone. I took care of the men and the dogs Saxon entertained the ladies. Here is a video of Saxon at work... Little "G"

Just in hot off the presses photo video of Mothers Day 2008 enjoy.... Little "G"

Nap Time

Today I will introduce you to my nap time buddies. As you can see there is Elmo he's red with a orange nose. Froggie he is the green one with the big eyes, can you see my orange giraffe in the corner? I really don't have a name for him, maybe I will call him Stretch. Fuzzy Bear is the one that is on the left and is wearing a knitted sweater that Farmor made for my Dad's teddy bear when he was my age. Is that not neat and now my teddy bear gets to wear it.
They all keep me company as I get ready to take my nap. I even share my blue blanket with them sometimes. I would share my bottle but none of them seem to interested in warm milk. Oh well I love the milk.
As for today I spent the early morning out playing with the dogs in the backyard. We played hide and seek. The game goes like this I take a dog cookie and run and hide of course the dogs are in hot pursuit behind me. I giggle, laugh and squeal as they try to catch me and get the cookie. I could play this came all day but Farfar says that the dogs can only have so many cookies, what a shame.
Later we all hopped in the Bucket our blue Honda Element and went to Woodside for a run. I ran up down the trails and took some breaks by riding on Farfars shoulders. The dogs really enjoy the exercise and I love playing in the Bucket. I get to unlock it with the keyes, jump up and down on the seats and practice steering the car. Well it's about time for me to go and join my nap time friends for a little rest....... Little "G"

1000 Words

Yes a picture can be worth a 1000 or so words. I wont bore you with all that many words I think the picture speaks for itself. One could say that Nika and I are close or that German Shepherds make great family dogs. You could say lots of things about them but I think this picture speaks volumes about this breed of dogs....... Little "G"

Secret Faucet

I have found a secret hidden water faucet in Hidden Valley. I used it today to water the dogs and to cool and wash my hands. Can you spot in todays picture?
The day started out cool and windy but as we got into walk the wind died down and it became nice and warm. When we got over to hidden valley I slid out of my stroller, grabbed some carrots and took off running. Of course the dogs where right behind me figuring that I would share the carrots with them. They were right and I tossed carrots as I ran. It is amazing how fast they can scoop up and cobble up a carrot all at a run.
Its impossible to get to far ahead of them but I take some twisting trails and hide behind bushes to make it harder for them. After our run I give them some water from our water bottle and then take a drink of juice from my bottle. Its then off and running and hiding again with Farfar and the dogs in hot pursuit. Farmor isn't far behind with the stroller her job is to help spot traffic and other obstacles. When I tire out I go to Farfar put up my hands and he picks me up and puts me back into the stroller. Where I clip up the safety belt all by myself...... Little "G"

Cinco de Mayo

Thats right its the 5th of May Mexico's Independence Day. I celebrated with the dogs and as you can see from the picture we had dog snacks. Maybe mom will be serving a more traditional Mexican dinner tonight so that we can do it up right.
If you are wondering if I'm of Mexican descent I'm not. I celebrate because its the neighborly thing to do. Their cuisine is also very enjoyable and someday I will be able to put hot sauce on my food just like mom and dad. In the mean time I will just have to enjoy the food as it comes on my plate. Don't overdue the celebrations.... Little "G"

Windy Hill

Today was a fun day first dad dropped me off at Farmors and stayed for a while to visit. I know that the old folks enjoyed the visit and of course I love my dad and enjoyed having him around a little longer this morning.
After dad left I headed outside to play with the dogs and to exercise Farfar by having him push me around in my car. I have learned to keep my feet up while he pushes me around the backyard. Its really fun when Ricki the German Shepherd runs beside the car with his ball in his mouth. He jumps up and down like a colt frolicking in its pasture.
After brushing my teeth and washing my hands we headed out to explore Windy Hill. It was a lovely day and I got to run all over the wide dirt trails. We stopped at the pond and saw how the algae that covered the pond had turned from green to red. Here is a short video so you can see the fun for yourself...... Little"G"
