Happy Birhtday Mr. "S"

That's right today is my little brothers birthday!!!! Saxon is one year old and wow does time fly. "Happy Birthday Bro." I can hardly wait for tonight for his little birthday party I wonder what type of goodies we will have?
Well not to change the subject but I have video for you and you may notice that I seem a little blurred in a couple of the pictures. It's the speed I exhibit and of course Nika can move in a blur too as I attempt to run her down with my car. But alas she always is just a little faster than I am and she gets away oh so easily. Enjoy the video......... Little "G"

All Decked Out

Wow its not even Halloween yet and Lucy is all decked out in her costume! In the picture you see me asking Farfar for another dog cookie for Lucy. She doesn't know how to say trick or treat but she just gives you a look with those sorrowful brown eyes and you just melt. I melted so much that I gave her at least 4 cookies today.
I'm also showcasing a video of me watching the construction at the town hall as I play on the playground...... Little "G"

At Last

Another week is nearly in the books. It hasn't been as productive as normal but it has been interesting. I'm up to the challenge the question is. Are the rest of you up to it. I'm battling a bit of a fever and that makes me a little cranky a lot like Farfar. But of course I'm also suffering from being two and challenging my world at every opportunity.
One minute I'm happy and the next not so much. It is fun to watch the reactions of the old folks to my swings in mood. They fall all over themselves to try and comfort me and sometimes it even works. Oh well the fever will pass and so will being two and handful. I'm looking forward to being three and turbo-charged.
On a positive note here is a slide show of some of my friends and adventures from this week.... Little "G"

Karma Tune-Up

Farmor and Farfar where wondering what it was that was effecting my good karma. Well considering that I'm not all that articulate they just have to live with it and try some good old fashion methods to snap me out of my funk.
The day started with a little brighter "G" but I was still in one of those moods. You know the ones that leave you sad and a little weepy. So Farmor and Farfar loaded me in the stroller and leashed up the dogs and we headed out to put a fresh light on the situation. Well the sun felt good and my snacks tasted good put when I saw what was awaiting me well that really put a boost in the old karma.
There it was big, orange and we were heading right for it. Yes it was a bright orange tractor and I was going to get to play on it! Well as you can see in the video it did the trick and I received the Big Orange Karma Tune-Up.

The good karma continued as I spent the rest of the morning playing with the dogs and Farfar. I was real hungry when we got home and ate noodles, hamburger, salami and some chips. I'm sending you all good vibes....... Little "G"

Putting Farfar through the Ringer

Ha, Ha, Ha boy did I have a fun afternoon today. Farmor had to go to my house and watch over my little brother Saxon for the afternoon. That left me alone with Farfar and as you may have already suspected he is putty in my hands. Yea I'm gifted that way I know how to push all his buttons and to keep him on the run. (The proof is in the picture).
It started at lunch I had him running to get me Pringles, ice cream and to get me anything else my little heart desired. Then all of a sudden the light came on and I figured out that hey Farmor isn't here! I can work this to my advantage. I immediately demanded to get out of my highchair and headed for the door with Ricki and Nika in hot pursuit.
I heard poor Farfar huffing and puffing in slug like pursuit. I hit the backyard and looked to my left and right and then it came to me. I'm not supposed to be on the pool cover so I headed for my toys and threw my frog onto the pool cover. I took a quick look at Farfar and gave him one of my mischievous grins and headed onto the pool cover to retrieve my frog. Farfar said oh no Grant you know that you aren't supposed to do that.
I just looked back at him with that innocent look on my face and ran over to my trampoline and started to jump. Then I was off to play with the dogs and do some more jumping. I was jumping off the cement pool deck and onto the lawn as Farfar called out one, two, three jump. Farfar then played the jumping game with me and when it came to his turn to jump he asked me what do you say?
Now get this Mom I actually said THREE as he jumped. I did it two more times before I tired of this game and wanted to go on my swing.
Well poor old Farfar said enough is enough and scooped me up to get ready for my nap. Wow what a surprise I had for him! A very major blowout yuk. Well he got through that adventure and off to bed I went. I guess the last laugh was on me because as soon as I finished my bottle I was finished and down I went.......... Little "G"

New Friends

Today I made two new dog friends they live over on Trail Lane in Woodside. One is a Weimaraner and the other is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever. I got to feed them dog cookies and the Lab even came out to visit.
He got out of his yard when the garbageman came and drove into the estate with his big truck. Out ran the Lab with his tail wagging and he ran right over to me and gave me a big kiss. I think he really liked the cookies I had given him. After I was through playing with him Farmor helped me put him back onto his property.
I learned something today, that Labradors have very soft mouths he took the cookies from me so gently one barely feels it. I also learned that he is a very friendly dog and likes to play all sorts of games. I'm looking forward to playing with him again.......... Little "G"

Behind the Vine

Interesting title for a toddlers blog article. It wasn't behind the blackberry vine nor was it behind the tomato vine no it is behind the grape vine or whats left of it. Some nice pictures from today's walk for you all to enjoy.
Oh yes Farmor and Farfar got me a new yellow dump truck, you have to see it work. It goes forward and backwards, dumps it load and shakes. The noises it makes are really neat and I can make it do all of its tricks. Maybe one day Farfar and I will post a short video of this amazing vehicle.
Ok, ok enough of my rambling and on with the show..... Little "G"

Halloween Fun

Hi I know its early in the morning but poor Farfar couldn't sleep so here I am publishing my latest adventure. Farmor, Farfar and I drove over to Lemos Farm in Halfmoon Bay it was a fabulously warm afternoon. When I got there I was so surprised to see this wonderful world of pumpkins, zombies and witches. There was so much to see and do I didn't know what to do first.
Was I going to check out the petting zoo? Ride a pony? or climb on all the neat trains and tractors they had? Well no I found this play area with some neat jumping equipment where I had a ball playing with the big kids. Well I wont keep you in suspense any longer here is a short video of what I saw and did........ Little "G"

Little Tramp

Or should I say little trampoline? That's right when I went out into the backyard with the dogs there it was sitting in the corner by the pool. My own toddler sized trampoline wow is it neat. You can jump and jump and go really high. It's a real kick.
In the video you will see that I had no problem figuring out what to do. I just climbed up and immediately felt the springiness of the trampoline and just started to jump and jump and jump. I even figured out that you could fall on your rear end and pop right back up. Notice even Farmor got a good laugh while she watched me perform.
Oh yes the picture for today I met this bony fellow who was watching over the pumpkins and apples in our neighbors yard. I even shook hands with him but he certainly was not very talkative. Farfar said that he may have more to say on Halloween...... Little "G"
