Putting Farfar through the Ringer

Ha, Ha, Ha boy did I have a fun afternoon today. Farmor had to go to my house and watch over my little brother Saxon for the afternoon. That left me alone with Farfar and as you may have already suspected he is putty in my hands. Yea I'm gifted that way I know how to push all his buttons and to keep him on the run. (The proof is in the picture).
It started at lunch I had him running to get me Pringles, ice cream and to get me anything else my little heart desired. Then all of a sudden the light came on and I figured out that hey Farmor isn't here! I can work this to my advantage. I immediately demanded to get out of my highchair and headed for the door with Ricki and Nika in hot pursuit.
I heard poor Farfar huffing and puffing in slug like pursuit. I hit the backyard and looked to my left and right and then it came to me. I'm not supposed to be on the pool cover so I headed for my toys and threw my frog onto the pool cover. I took a quick look at Farfar and gave him one of my mischievous grins and headed onto the pool cover to retrieve my frog. Farfar said oh no Grant you know that you aren't supposed to do that.
I just looked back at him with that innocent look on my face and ran over to my trampoline and started to jump. Then I was off to play with the dogs and do some more jumping. I was jumping off the cement pool deck and onto the lawn as Farfar called out one, two, three jump. Farfar then played the jumping game with me and when it came to his turn to jump he asked me what do you say?
Now get this Mom I actually said THREE as he jumped. I did it two more times before I tired of this game and wanted to go on my swing.
Well poor old Farfar said enough is enough and scooped me up to get ready for my nap. Wow what a surprise I had for him! A very major blowout yuk. Well he got through that adventure and off to bed I went. I guess the last laugh was on me because as soon as I finished my bottle I was finished and down I went.......... Little "G"

OKAY this is by far one of my favorite blogs so far. Great picture and what a sucker Farfar is......but there is ONE thing so blatantly obvious a grandfather LOVES his grandson. What could make a mom more happy:)

Thanks for all your work (and fun). Grant is really a very lucky (and happy) child.

Especially when the younger grandson looks very much like his FarFar....I just saw this blog again and it made me laugh again.

Grant had an amazing time at a friend's bday party today...He got to play in another jumpy house with a slide AND there was a real firetruck that came for a visit...of course it took less than 2 seconds for Grant to be in front and at the steering wheel.....There were all sorts of fun things to play on.

We also attending a Gymboree class on Friday...he reallly liked it even though he did most stuff on his own and didnt join the class...but who cares a GREAT place esp with the rainy season coming.
