New Hat

This has been the day! Unfortunately there are only a few pictures to commemorate the occasion. Lets see it started on our daily walk, we were headed to the soccer field and guess who we ran into? It was Deputy Sheriff Rob who was sitting on his police motorcycle. I can't put into words how thrilled I was to get up and close to his motorcycle. It had all sort of lights on it and a awesome siren.
After saying bye bye to Rob and thanking him for letting me get up close to his police motorcycle we were off to feed two brand new horses. The horses live behind the soccer field and one is brown and white I think its called a pinto and the other was a rich dark mahogany color. They were so excited to see us and just gulped down the carrots.
As we continued on we ran into two large coyotes who where walking through the grass next to the road. I have never been so close to these wild animals before. We stopped and the coyotes just looked at us and then slowly walked up the hill. Then they watched us walk by them and they turned and quickly disappeared into the trees.
At the soccer field I ran and jumped all around the grass. I looked for the orange tractor but unfortunately it was not there. I had to make do with climbing up the bleachers and jumping down off the benches.
I have saved the best for last as you may have guessed by the pictures. We stopped by the fire station and the two fire fighters allowed me to get up into the cab of the fire engine and drive it. They did tell me I couldn't push all those alluring buttons and there was no pulling of knobs. That was all right because when I got out I was able to all around the truck and flex at all of the trucks giant chrome wheels. I saw all their equipment, hoses, ladders and special wild fire equipment. At the end the firemen gave me my own hat and badge.
I tried to stick the badge on my stomach just like my dog tattoo but it wouldn't stay on so I had to put on my new helmet. It looks good don't you think?

Please don't laugh to much at Farfar even thou he looks real funny in my hat.... Little "G"
